Last Call for June Narratively Academy Classes!
Grab one of the last seats in our first-ever book study, our queer writers workshop, or the upcoming June generative prompts class.
Summer is sooooo close but school’s not out of session just yet! Our last three spring writing classes start next week, so if you’re hoping to give your writing a boost before your summer vacay, now’s the time to get moving.
By the way: Just here to read stories? If you’d rather not get emails about our classes, go to your settings and unselect “Academy” in the notifications section.
In Reading Like a Writer: a Book Study of “Skinfolk,” students will spend the month of June reading Matthew Pratt Guterl’s acclaimed and haunting memoir, Skinfolk, and discussing how to apply themes and approaches found in the book to your own memoir writing. There are just 3 seats left in this class—note that students are expected to read the first 100 pages of the book before the class, so if you grab one of those last spots, be sure to also grab a book and start reading ASAP!
Starting this Sunday, June 1, our self-guided “30 Days, 30 Prompts” class is designed to jumpstart your creativity while letting you go at your own pace throughout the month of June. Students in past sessions of this class have loved how the daily prompts sparked creativity, invigorated their daily writing practices and got them moving on new projects.
Lastly, there’s just 1 seat left in our inaugural Queer Memoir Writers Workshop with Claire Rudy Foster, which kicks off this Sunday, June 1, just in time for Pride Month!
