Some people collect stamps. Some people collect bugs. We collect stories. In fact, for our first few years of Narratively, we published five stories around a central theme each week. Those themed story collections live on. You may have even noticed stories from some of them featured on our homepage — like True Crime, Sex Ed and Black in America. We actually have over 300 of those themes, from Do-Gooders to Drifters to Puppies!!!! (and yes, Cats!!!! too).
Readers, we’re wondering: What kind of story collections would you like to see featured on Narratively? Could be about a topic, a place, an identity or an idea. If we already have the collection you’re looking for, we’ll drop it in the comments so you can follow us down the rabbit hole. If we don’t, maybe you’ll inspire us to start a new collection and find the stories to fit.

Memoir (nothing beats life), crime, the marginalized, LGBTQ, black, hispanic...unfortunately the list is long, death (stories that sit alongside our tales of living), stories that take me into unexplored places in my mind and spirit, shift my paradigm.
I like short memoir that explores a single question. I write what I call "real-time flash memoir" where I document the full remodel of our home. I explore what it means to build a home when there is always someone missing from the dinner table.
My own niche is in exploring the complex relationship between art and mental health, particularly the shadow side of how mental health symptoms impact creative content and process. So, that would be a unique theme I'd love to see. More broadly - the shadow side of creativity.
Two off-beat, if you will, topics I would like to see stories about, topics that are gaining currency are: UFOs (UAPs, the new name) and the JFK Assassination. I myself have a personal memoir posted in Medium about each.
