Once upon a time, Narratively founders Noah Rosenberg and Brendan Spiegel had grown frustrated by their day jobs in big journalism. They were tired of hearing that their passion projects were too “quirky,” “complex,” or “in-depth,” for mainstream media. So they did something about it. With a remarkable team of editors, writers, photographers, illustrators and other creators, they built a platform that champions diverse, indie journalists and storytellers and celebrates humanity through the most authentic, unexpected and extraordinary true narratives.
Noah, Brendan and all of us at Narratively are incredibly proud to have published 2,000+ stories and counting, working with thousands of storytellers from Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists to emerging writers sharing their very first pieces. Our mission has always been to celebrate underdogs and elevate overlooked voices, and it’s one that requires the support of readers like you.

Narratively Sound, our podcast group, adapts Narratively’s IP and original ideas into our own shows Believable and Narratively Out Loud as well as content we produce alongside partners like WNYC, Snap Judgment, VPM and 50 Cent’s G Unit Film & Television.
Narratively Creative is our Telly-award-winning branded and commercial content studio, which leverages Narratively's storyteller network and in-house team to create best-in-class content — across video, podcasts, and writing — on behalf of clients from Amazon to GE, 23andMe, Marriott, the Washington Post and Doctors Without Borders.
